Mini-League Report - 14th June 2014

Well done to all our swimmers who took part on Saturday.
For many it was their first ever gala. We had lots of personal best times.  We had some dq's  but the mini league is a development gala for our young and talented swimmers we can learn from
any mistakes and move forward.

We finished third on the night (for those like me who could not understand a word the chap on the microphone said all night).

For those parents who made the effort to give up their Saturday evening for a journey across to the other side of Essex also thank you.  The pool one could say is not the best we visit however the gala did run through with no stoppages.   I take it everyone saw Rachel Debbie and myself paddling when the water surged out of the pool to save everyone’s Bags towels etc. - we have never moved so quick!   Makes you really appreciate our pool!
Thanks to our poolside crew Adam, Debbie,  Rachel, Mrs Jones and Mrs Fergus. Without you these events do not happen and lastly, to the swimmers: keep making team selection difficult for me
by getting such fantastic times!

Sue Humphries - Coach

Mini League Report - Saturday 8th February 2014

A huge thank you to our volunteers on Saturday Rachel, Catherine and John, without your assistance events like this would not happen.

We finished fourth a good starting point. We had quite a few time faults, with some swimmers finishing in some cases two seconds faster than their personal bests. Just shows how well the swimmers are working. For some it was their first club gala so especially well done to them.

Thanks for the parents support nice to see you all cheering us on. We had a  superb team spirit poolside, and hopefully in the next round we can improve our points score.

Well done swimmers and keep making my job as team selector hard by getting those pb's

From your coaches for the Mini League
